We’re delighted to announce St Ignatius Catholic School in St Helier, New Zealand have picked a virtual balloon race from Rentaballoonrace.com for their next fund raising effort.
St Ignatius Catholic Primary School is situated in the tranquil seaside suburb of St Heliers Bay, an established residential area close to Auckland’s central business district. The original two roomed school was opened in 1927 by the Josephite sisters, the order founded by Australia’s first canonised saint, St Mary of the Cross MacKillop. In November 2014, the two storey St Mary MacKillop block comprising flexible learning spaces was opened to provide further accommodation for our maximum intake of 321 children. The school provides a valued Catholic education for Year 1-6 children living within the traditional parish zones of St Ignatius, St Heliers and Mother of Perpetual Help, Glendowie.
